NAP – My best tip of the day

Improving with experience and quickened up like a nice horse to make the breakthrough at Lingfield last month, first start following a wind op/ gelding operation; mark looks lenient now handicapping so big chance.
The early money was for Yantarni here but he doesn’t look the most straightforward of individuals and even so I think he’ll need to improve a fair bit to cope with SHIGAR who comfortably looks the most likely winner of this. I remember him finishing third on debut and he was quite a big eye-catcher that day. He then ran in a good race behind subsequent Derby winner Desert Crown at Nottingham before finishing fourth at Doncaster. He was strong in the market following a wind op and gelding operation to win at Lingfield and should have more to come now handicapping off just 78. Being by Farhh he could be even better for soft ground too. The Covex Kid might be the biggest threat.

Ffos Las 3.52 Rum Going On (5/2)
Likeable type who came good at Musselburgh earlier in the season; held his form really well since and was hampered when fourth last time; freshened up since off the same mark with Harry Davies claiming 3lb.
This looks a great opportunity for RUM GOING ON to get himself back in the winners enclosure. He is still relatively lightly raced and he had been knocking on the door before finishing fourth last time where he was hampered in the run. Freshened up off the same mark I think he is going to get seriously competitive here. Both Grant Me Serenity and Agapanther should go forward so I just expect him to sit in behind and be in the box seat to pounce. Atlantic Heart looks the main danger but he should get first run on that filly which could prove the difference. She has blinkers on now for the first time but still remains a maiden so that would have to be slight concerning.
