Race 11 Saratoga 10.44 Epicenter (11/8)

Smart colt who was back to his best beating Zandon and Early Voting here last time, travelling strongly; back on the up now and should take a lot of beating again here; one to keep on side for sure.

I can’t wait for the racing Stateside tonight. Travers Day is always pretty special and hopefully EPICENTER delivers for us in the big one. He is a very talented colt who found all bar the closing Rich Strike too strong in the Kentucky Derby and then chased home Early Voting in the Preakness. He was much too good for that rival here last time and clearly acts well at this track. He is open to further improvement and looks the most likely winner as the betting is suggesting. Cyberknife is on a hat-trick having shown a great attitude to prevail last time in the Haskell. He could be the biggest danger having won 4 of his last 5. Artorius is on a hat-trick and is unexposed so also has to be respected.

Race 9 Del Mar 2.02 Speaker’s Corner (11/8)

Talented colt who looked to be going places winning the Hooper, Gulfstream Mile and the Carter before running a bit flat at Belmont; back to form last time and looks hard to oppose in this field.

Great chance for SPEAKER’S CORNER to get himself back in the winners enclosure at Del Mar tonight. He looked a colt on the upgrade back in April and while his last two runs haven’t been amazing I think he is capable of better again and this looks a good opportunity. American Theorem is on a hat-trick and beat Get Her Number last time so looks the danger. Laurel River is also chasing 3 in a row and was quite impressive last time but this is much tougher and he will need to progress a fair bit to spring an upset here. Defunded has been building a nice profile but ten blew out last time and that would have to be concerning now tackling what looks an even better field on paper.
