MY US NAP WON LAST NIGHT AND RUNS IN RACE 4 AT FINGER LAKES TONIGHT!
Race 4 Finger Lakes 7.31 Merger Of Equals (2/1)
Promising filly who left her debut run behind to win easily at Belmont earlier in the season; beaten twice since but this looks easier and she obviously remains open to further improvement; sure to go close.
My US NAP won again last night having been heavily backed and that could be the case again here with MERGER OF EQUALS. Now this isn’t a great race by any means but she is a filly open to improvement and I’m surprised she isn’t shorter. She was always up with the pace when winning at Belmont and I think that will be the plan again. She has been given time since finishing second last time and I’m convinced she is better than that. Mission Cat is the likely danger but she was beaten over 10 lengths last time so has a bit to prove off the back of that performance. Sweet Maeve impressed winning here last month but has also gone off the boil so will need more to land a blow at the business end here.

Race 6 Fort Erie 8.25 Erratique (2/1)
Tough filly who arrives here having won 3 of her last 4 and much the best again over C&D last time; remains open to further improvement and looks the most likely winner in this field; should take a lot of beating.
The hat-trick seeking ERRATIQUE looks the one to side with at Fort Erie tonight. She is improving all the time and that was quite impressive for the grade last time. This is tougher but she is definitely up to the task. Blonde Attitude is also chasing 3 in a row and beat a few of these last time so looks the most obvious danger to the favourite. Haven’t Hit Me Yet continues to run well and has form that ties in with the latter so is unlikely to be too far away either. Fleck has hit the frame the last twice and is another one worth noting but definitely exposed in comparison to the selection at least. Martini Sue is quite a big price and she might sneak a place but again vulnerable for win purposes.
