Windsor 4.30
The Racing League on Thursday kicks off with a really competitive sprint with it hard to rule out many of these. GLAMOROUS BREEZE gets a tentative vote to continue her recent good run of form (21212). She went close again at Sandown just over a week ago and off the same mark she looks like she will be be bang there again.
Equality has been running in some of the top sprint handicaps and a mark of 90 could see him go well here in an easier race. Of the rest Embour could outrun his odds back down at this trip. Kimngrace has been in pretty decent form all season and is another one that has to be taken seriously in here.

I obviously backed SAFARI DREAM at Sandown last time (was my NAP) and I thought he was unlucky to lose the race in the stewards’ room. Thankfully I got paid out first past the post and I’m keen to keep him on side again here. His form is progressive now and given he is due to go up 2lb he should strike again while the iron is hot. This actually looks more winnable to me and I’ll be surprise if he doesn’t go close under Neil Callan.
Gemcutter has won her last two as well and she is a filly that shouldn’t be underestimated. She beat Match Play and Castan at Carlisle last time and that is solid form so she should give each way players a decent run for their money. Lost Angel was third to Streets Of Gold in a good race at York last time so is another one entitled to plenty of respect especially back down to the minimum trip.
This race sees DORA PENNY out again she has done well for us on her streak of 4 wins and a 4lb rise may not be enough to stop her. She won well over course and distance last month and looked as though she had plenty left at the finish. If in the same form she will be hard to beat. She beat Bonita B who has won since so I’m surprised to see her drift to as big as 5/1 this morning.
Monsieur Kodi arrives here on a hat-trick and rates the main danger in the field. Richard Fahey’s gelding won well on both of his last two runs so an 8lb rise may not stop another big effort. Lir Speciale has been backed and obviously remains unexposed following a wind op on his return.

This is arguably the most competitive race of the day so I wouldn’t blame you for going to make a cup of tea. I do like LIANGEL HOPE from an each way perspective. He is chasing a four-timer after prevailing by a short head at Salisbury last month. He ran on strongly so will be suited by this stiff finish here. Saffie Osborne claims a valuable 3lb and he has more going for him than most in here.
Snapcracklepop also represents the same team and has been backed into favourite now. He won nicely over track and trip last time and a 6lb penalty shouldn’t prevent a bold display. I do think 3/1 is a bit short in a race as open as this though. Island Bandit defied big odds to win again at Sandown last time and is another one that should run his race with Ryan Sexton claiming 5lb.

This is a really good contest with the top 4 in the market looking to hold the key. I am siding with YAASER over the favourite as he seems to be improving with every run. He won a Racing League race at Doncaster last time out and the step back up to a mile here will suit. In a competitive race he is one that rarely runs a bad race and will go well if getting the gaps late.
The favourite at the time of writing is Majestic who rates the main danger but does have to give the selection 7lb. He won easily on fast ground at Pontefract before just losing out at Beverley. If the ground is fast enough he will go close. That’s Just Dandy must also come into the reckoning despite running poorly in Ireland last time.

I’m confident the best is yet to come with TYPICAL WOMAN and I think it’s interesting how they’ve campaigned this filly. I do think she ideally wants softer ground to be seen to best effect but at the same time she could be very well handicapped off a mark of just 73. She is by Nathaniel so should keep improving with age and experience and that was a solid run when third at Sandown last time. If she improves again she will be bang in the mix and 8/1 looks a cracking price.
Barley also represents Wales & The West and could be the one to give her most to think about. He ran well when fourth to System at Doncaster and stepping up to a mile and a quarter could help unlock further improvement now. At a big price Gatecrasher Girl will find this easier than that Listed race last time so might also be worth a squeak to hit the frame especially if you can get 4 places.

The way ANDALEEP cruised up at Sandown last time was impressive and once let down switched up the inside he really found to stay on strongly. He did that with a bit to spare again and given it was an apprentice event he goes unpenalised. His winning run started over this C&D at the start of last month so the track holds no fears and it is hard to find any chinks in his armour.
The danger is likely Haunted Dream who improved to win at Beverley and Lingfield earlier in the season. He has been beaten a few times since but performed creditably and that second to Box To Box at Chester is pretty solid form. Of the rest Croeso Cymraeg showed a good attitude to win at Salisbury but has been held since.
