NAP – My best tip of the day
Windsor 7.30 Andaleep (5/2)
Likeable type who arrives here at the top of his game having travelled strongly before landing the hat-trick easily at Sandown last time; escapes a penalty for that win so hard to knock again; should have all the answers.
The way ANDALEEP cruised up at Sandown last time was impressive and once let down switched up the inside he really found to stay on strongly. He did that with a bit to spare again and given it was an apprentice event he goes unpenalised. His winning run started over this C&D at the start of last month so the track holds no fears and it is hard to find any chinks in his armour. The danger is likely Haunted Dream who improved to win at Beverley and Lingfield earlier in the season. He has been beaten a few times since but performed creditably and that second to Box To Box at Chester is pretty solid form. Of the rest Croeso Cymraeg showed a good attitude to win at Salisbury but has been held since.

Salisbury 2.50 Quantum Light (11/4)
Promising filly who caught the eye running well in third on debut at Ascot despite racing keenly; stepped forward from that initial effort when beaten narrowly at Kempton; more to come so obvious chance against these.
I’m surprised QUANTUM LIGHT isn’t clear favourite here. She may well end up going off fav but I think her two runs to date definitely warrant her an obvious chance of opening her account here. That debut third at Ascot looked really good at the time and I know the form has taken a few knocks since but she backed that up only headed late at Kempton last time. She will go forward under Franke Dettori here and I’m not sure she’ll come back to them. The biggest danger in the betting is Eximious but for me she was readily held at the line when second at Newmarket and while she could be promising she lacks experience and is likely going to concede first run here which won’t be easy.
