Race 7 Woodbine 9.20 Niagara Skyline (15/8)

Progressive type who has won 3 of his last 4 and clocked a career best last time drawing clear impressively last on over 6f here last month; capable of better again and this no tougher so leading claims to follow up.

My US NAP was mightily impressive last night so hopefully I can follow up on Friday. I’m going to head to Woodbine where NIAGARA SKYLINE should take a lot of beating. This 4yo has looked really progressive this season winning 3 of his 4 starts. He drew right off last time and looks firmly on the upgrade now. He can improve again and if he does 15/8 could look huge. Told It All was third behind the selection last time and could be the one to chase him home again here. Hard to see how he reverses that form though. Reconfigure was also well behind that day so has ground to make up. He has been consistent but is a 10yo now and is unlikely to find anymore improvement so again plenty of work to do here.

Race 7 Gulfstream Park 8.39 I Believe In Magic (5/2)

Likeable filly who made a bright start winning on debut and while she has been beaten 3 times since she has run well and again went close when runner-up over C&D last time; open to improvement so big chance.

With the promise of more to come after just the 4 starts I BELIEVE IN MAGIC looks worth siding with at Gulfstream tonight. She bumped into another nice horse in Lady Emily last time so if she can build on that once more she really should be getting her head back in front. Nana Fanny disappointed last time but had some good form to her name prior to that so could be the danger if bouncing back here. Tiz Enough ran on strongly when second last time and is another one to note but she is pretty exposed so if the selection progresses as expected she might struggle to peg her back. Mia Camila was disappointing behind the selection last time so has work to do to even close that gap tonight.
