NAP – Best selection of the evening
MY US NAP RUNS IN RACE 8 AT COLONIAL DOWNS ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT!
Race 8 Colonial Downs 10.01 Mo Clare’s (2/1)
Likeable mare who comes here at the top of her game chasing a hat-trick of wins; too strong for Urban Fairytale on penultimate start and then held off Unruly Julie and Fionnbharr last time; hard to oppose.
The US NAP was disappointing last night so hopefully I can get back on track on Wednesday. I’m going to head to Colonial Downs where MO CLARE’S can complete a hat-trick of wins. She has looked better than ever recently and while this is a step up she holds the main market rivals on that recent form. She will go forward again and likely take a lot of catching. Urban Fairytale got within a length and a half last time and looks the main danger again tonight. Unruly Julie was also second to the selection last time beaten a length and a half but she will concede first run again and I’m struggling to see her closing that gap. Gastown Babe possibly best of the rest as she’s still unexposed.

Race 6 Philadelphia 8.10 Five Dreams (3/1)
Impressed drawing away close home to make it 2 wins from his last 3 starts at this track; hard to beat if in similar form here as should get a lovely toe in too; comfortably the most likely winner so one to keep on side.
Big chance for FIVE DREAMS to make it 3 wins from his last 4 starts. He ended up winning by over 5 lengths last time so a similar performance to that should suffice here. The danger looks to be the hat-trick seeking The Judge and Jury who impressed last time and doesn’t look to lack speed. He does lack experience though and that might be exploited by the selection. Jake Rocks impressed winning at Belmont but then failed to shine beaten 10 lengths at this track last time. Back in trip but enough to prove off the back of that latest effort. Super John ran better when second last month but he just isn’t showing enough to be a serious threat here at the moment so will likely prove vulnerable once more.
