MY US NAP RUNS IN RACE 7 AT DEL MAR ON FRIDAY NIGHT!
Race 7 Del Mar 2.01 Kangaroo Court (11/8)
Improving fast judging by the way he lengthened away to win impressively over the extended 5f here last month; more to come for sure and if he steps forward again should have way too much for this field.
The way KANGAROO COURT won last time was mightily impressive and with further improvement on the cards he can make it 2 wins from 3 starts here. He really widened last time and was a street clear at the finishing line. This is obviously tougher but he almost certainly has more to come and looks the most likely winner. Straighten Up made a winning debut and certainly wasn’t disgraced beaten a length last time so looks the danger with likely more to come. Giver Not A Taker looked a nice type winning on debut but this is a fair step up so he’ll need to build on that to trouble the selection but certainly can’t be completely dismissed given the way he won on debut.
NB – Second best selection of the day
MY US NEXT BEST WON AGAIN LAST NIGHT AND IS ON A HAT-TRICK NOW!
Race 7 Woodbine 9.20 Money Printer (15/8)
Likeable type who improved to win head in chest on a synthetic surface here back in July; better again back on turf last time and much the best at the finish; has more to offer so the hat-trick looks on the cards.
Great chance for the progressive MONEY PRINTER to complete the hat-trick. He was impressive on penultimate start going away at the line and backed that up on turf last time 3 lengths too good for his rivals. He can still improve given how lightly raced he is and I’m confident he is the most likely winner again. Haddassah won on penultimate start and was a good third in a Grade 2 last time so looks the danger returned to these calmer waters. Hombre impressed on penultimate start as well but then blew out somewhat last time weakening at the finish so he’ll need to dig deep to trouble the market principals here. Dun Drum won last time but this is a great deal tougher and he needs more on turf.
