MY US NAP RUNS IN RACE 3 AT HORSESHOE INDIANAPOLIS ON MONDAY NIGHT!

Race 3 Horseshoe Indianapolis 8.32 Bumpy (11/8)

Promising type who left his debut run behind to finish third over track and trip last month; came forward again to go close here last time and with further improvement to come can open his account here.

This looks a decent opportunity for BUMPY to open his account. He continued his race-by-race progression to go close last time and won’t need to find much more to win this as it isn’t any tougher. He will likely push forward and if he gets the better of the battle with Cha Cha Larry and Tay then he will take a lot of beating. Tay was behind the selection last time so could be the danger again but hard to see him reversing that form. Cha Cha Larry was also in that race so has ground to make up to reverse that form. Just A Notion was taken off his feet on debut but will likely know more this time around but probably still up against it. Majestic Zeus makes his debut but should come on for the experience.

Race 4 Finger Lakes 7.31 The Institute (13/8)

Improving sort who won head in chest on penultimate start and then backed that up over C&D last time drawing off with plenty up his sleeve again; can do better yet and surely the hat-trick beckons.

With the promise of more to come THE INSTITUTE gets a confident vote to bring up the hat-trick. His win on penultimate start was in a better race than this and was mightily impressive spread-eagling the field by a whopping 16 and a half lengths. He has more to come and won again convincingly last time. He will track the speed but if nothing can go with him he is versatile and can just push forward. Hard to find many chinks in his armour. Victory Built ran well when second last time and holds Gimmedamoney on that form so could emerge as the main danger. Trappe The Dream arrives in winning form having scored over C&D last month but this definitely has more strength in depth.
