NAP – My best tip of the day
Thirsk 3.50 Heartbreak Lass (7/4)
Progressive filly who caught the eye going close on debut at Windsor and then improved to swoop late at Lingfield last month; carries a penalty here but more to come for sure and well placed to follow up.
I was with HEARTBREAK LASS at Lingfield last time and she certainly didn’t let me down picking up strongly at the finish to run them down. She can keep improving and even carrying a penalty here I make her a strong play to follow up with just the 4 rivals to beat. Proclivity was beaten a length into fourth at Beverley and then missed by less than 2 lengths at Southwell so is the likely danger but she is pretty exposed already. Lory has been too keen so she will need to settle better if she is to have a chance of seeing out her race here. Gabriella’s Spirit was back to form when runner-up at Doncaster but has failed to back that up since and is hard to recommend on recent form.

Brighton 5.00 Lethal Angel (7/4)
Dual C&D winner this summer and looked desperately unlucky when denied just half a length over track and trip last week; runs off the same mark here and if getting the gaps should be finishing best of all.
I thought LETHAL ANGEL was really unlucky over track and trip last week and with a better run through here off the same mark she should take a lot of beating. Sparked and King Crimson should go forward so it will likely set up perfectly for her. The former won at Yarmouth in July and while she hasn’t quite matched that form she has run well in defeat the last twice so could be the one to finish second with the fav hopefully picking her up in the closing stages. Jack Ryan has won at this track as well and wasn’t beaten far at a big price at Southwell so if building on that here could be best of the rest. Miles behind the selection when finishing last here back in July though so definitely work to do.
