Race 9 Philadelphia 9.31 Thegoddessofsnakes (10/11)

Promising filly who is improving all the time judging by her impressive win over track and trip on penultimate start and backed that up showing a good attitude over 7f last time; more to come yet so hard to beat.

The improving THEGODDESSOFSNAKES should take a lot of beating at Philadelphia on Tuesday night. She is a filly on the upgrade judging by her last two wins and given this is easier she should have too much for this field. She likes to race on the speed and in a race full of closers she might just slip this field. If she gets on the front and is dictating I don’t think they’ll see which way she goes. Live Aid won over 6f last time and looks the danger up half a furlong in trip tonight. She is a 6yo now though and isn’t open to as much improvement as the selection so might always be up against it. Kingdom Queen blew out last time but if bouncing back would be best of the rest but enough to prove right now.

Race 5 Thistledown 7.50 Gun Lap (6/5)

Tough sort who showed a real want to win prevailing by just a neck here last month; form stacks up and if he improves again he looks well placed to follow up here; worth keeping on side especially in this lowly grade.

It’s hard to look past GUN LAP at Thistledown on Tuesday night. He won last time closing up well and showing a good attitude to hold on. He is still unexposed and with more to come can go in again here. K P Silver Bullet won easily last time but this has more strength in depth and he needs to prove it at this track as well. Awesome Steel failed to menace last time and needs to show more to get seriously competitive. Ames Mister has confidence high after winning over track and trip last month and that was a good effort seeing how wide he came but I still think the selection will have too much as that is what the clock is suggesting as well. Hard to see any of the others springing an upset.
