NAP – My best tip of the day
Goodwood 4.10 Secret Shadow (best price 5/2)
Progressive filly who showed a great attitude to win by a short head over C&D last month; that form franked since with the second winning next time out; 4lb rise manageable with the promise of more to come.
I’m heading to Goodwood on Wednesday for my best bet and SECRET SHADOW should go close. I’ve been a fan of this filly for a while now and she showed an attitude to die for to win again over track and trip last time. She is up 4lb but is still a 4yo and there should be more to come as her stamina is drawn out. Strawberri is also likely to be suited by this trip so looks the danger – I think the betting has it spot on. Wickywickywheels has impressed recently but she has done all her winning at Hamilton and up another 5lb I think she is going to find this a fair bit tougher. Viola has been nibbled at but I think on the balance of her form she is one to take on here.

Kempton 7.45 Albion Princess (best price 11/4)
Likeable filly who was joined on the line when dead-heating at Ffos Las last month; bred to keep improving up to a mile and a half and given she is unexposed I think she looks worth siding with against these.
Not a bad race for a Class 6 and last time out winner ALBION PRINCESS looks to have a good opportunity to follow up. I think she’ll be a cut above this level in time and with the step up to a mile and a half firmly in her favour she can progress to take this. She clocked a decent speed figure and has more in her favour than most here. Pablo Prince defied top weight at Lingfield and is 2 from 3 over the trip now so looks the most obvious danger to the favourite. La Belle Vie failed to fire last time but if bouncing back would also have to be considered. Wolf Of Oxshott might also come forward for this trip but this looks competitive enough and he might need a bit more time anyhow.
