MY US NAP RUNS IN RACE 5 AT BELMONT AT THE BIG A ON SATURDAY NIGHT!
Race 5 Belmont At The Big A 8.16 Let Her Inspire U (4/5)
Progressive filly who won as she liked on return and followed that up with another convincing win next time; bumped into Fingal’s Cave when denied half a length last month; more to come and should win this.
Hard to oppose the improving LET HER INSPIRE U at Belmont tonight. She was second in stakes company last time and back down in calmer waters here a repeat of that performance would likely suffice. She will push forward and if she gets dictating I don’t see her coming back. Bustin Bay had Caragate held when winning on penultimate start but has been beaten since and is no certainty to confirm that form. Sister Linda might pose a greater threat though as she won 2 of her first 3 starts before blowing out last time. Given time since if bouncing back could run well. Still needs more to spring an upset. Sunset Louise won well last time but this is going to demand more again.

Race 8 Woodbine 10.06 Patches O’houlihan (3/1)
Created a big impression winning so easily on debut opening up in the closing stages; sure to improve off the back of that initial effort and looks well placed to make it a perfect 2 from 2 here; one to keep on side.
I’m pleasantly surprised to see PATCHES O’HOULIHAN at 3/1 here? He impressed winning on debut and is only going to improve from that initial effort. He had One Bay Hemingway held in second and will confirm that form tonight. Poulin In O T won his first two starts but was well held last time and has a bit to prove to upset the selection I think. Awesome Bourbon made the breakthrough last time and showed a good attitude in doing so but again will likely need more to cope with the selection who clearly brings the most potential to the table here. Silent Fortune also won on debut but this is tougher and he might just prove vulnerable up a furlong in trip switching to turf now.
