MY US NAP WON AGAIN LAST NIGHT AND IS ON A HAT-TRICK ON MONDAY NIGHT!

Race 5 Fort Erie 7.57 Sweet Finale (4/5)

Improving filly who took a big step forward back down to this level winning impressively over track and trip last time, drawing readily clear late; hard to beat if reproducing that and has scope to progress again as well.

The US NAP has found form again recently so I’m going for a HAT-TRICK of winners at Fort Erie tonight. I really like SWEET FINALE who is sure to be a warm order following that romp over track and trip last time. She can improve again and looks the one they all have to beat here. Westlodge Intrigue has been running in better company and should at least strip fitter from that last outing but she still has a bit to prove and is a 9yo now so won’t be improving. Allaboutthedrama has some good form to her name but disappointed last time weakening in the closing stages. Enough to put me off for now. Fresh Dreams might be the value to finish second but she hasn’t been seen since December last year.

Race 10 Philadelphia 9.58 Verrazano Bridge (15/8)

Likeable type who showed a good attitude to dig deep and force a dead head over 7f here last month; form stacks up and if producing his best will prove really tough to beat; good pace on so worth chancing against these.

The tough and consistent VERRAZANO BRIDGE can win again at Philadelphia tonight. He loves it here and ran a cracker to force a dead head here last time. This is no tougher so it’s no surprise to see him favourite. There is a lot of pace on potentially and hopefully he’ll get a lovely toe into it before keeping on best. Super Comet hasn’t won for a while but remains relatively unexposed and might improve enough to be the danger. Rudy Rod was a good second last time and was in front of Alpha’s Candy Man so has to be respected as well. At a bigger price Go For The Kill might be capable of hitting the frame but only if some of these disappoint. Quite a tricky race but the selection looks to be a standout.
