NAP – My best tip of the day
Leicester 5.25 Sir Winston (best price 7/4)
Promising colt who improved from his debut to go close at Newcastle and again showed ability when a close third at Wolverhampton; given time since and sure to improve on handicap debut; hard to oppose.
Patience should be rewarded with SIR WINSTON who looks likely to be leniently treated off a mark of just 76. His third at Wolverhampton has worked out well since and given time to strengthen up and mature since he is likely to have improved plenty. He has plenty of speed so I don’t expect him to be far away and with a bit of luck David Egan will have him in the prime spot to challenge. Sisters In The Sky has a bit to prove off the back of that last run but he shouldn’t be completely overlooked as if bouncing back may well be the danger. Trumble is a good looking type who could still have more to offer but you’d need to forgive that Chester run last time as he failed to fire there.

Brighton 4.28 Counterattack (best price 9/4)
Lightly raced sort who took a sizeable step forward to finish third on handicap debut at Chelmsford last month; step back up in trip will suit and racing off the same mark no surprise if he is a danger to all.
A combination of a gelding operation and going handicapping helped COUNTERATTACK improve to finish third at Chelmsford last month. He stayed on well so the step back up to a mile and a quarter looks ideal and off the same mark he should have a big chance of getting his head in front now. Silver Bubble has thrived this season and has won 2 of her last 3 but she has never won off a mark this high and while she will probably run a big race and be the danger she might just be in the handicappers grip for the time being. Tawtheef was left poorly placed at Lingfield when last seen and has had a wind op since so might be the value to hit the frame. Celestial Point has won here but she needs more.
