NAP – My best tip of the day
Warwick 1.40 Northern Bound (best price 2/1)
Likeable type who has thrived since going over fences again travelling into it strongly before going clear easily at Bangor last time; 7lb rise looks fair seeing as he had more in the locker; should be hard to beat.
I’m looking forward to seeing NORTHERN BOUND out again on Thursday. This horse has really improved since going chasing and looked good value for his 9 and a half length win over Fat Sam at Bangor last time. He always travelled like the winner through that race and once asked readily asserted. A 7lb rise doesn’t look enough to anchor him and if in the same form will likely prove difficult to beat. Fat Sam has won over this C&D and gets a 9lb swing in the weights so could still be the danger but he has been beaten heavily since over track and trip and he’ll need to get back on track with the cheekpieces replacing the hood. Golden Taipan is the other one to note but he can make mistakes.

Chelmsford 8.00 Schwartz (best price 2/1)
Progressive sort who clocked a career best making it four wins in a row over this C&D last month, running on well at the finish; still not got to the bottom of him by the looks so a 4lb rise shouldn’t stop him here.
The five-timer may well be on the cards for the improving SCHWARTZ. He has been well placed by Richard Hughes and again was much too good for his rivals over track and trip last month. He started his winning off a mark of just 49 at Bath back in July and is now rated 72 (23lb higher) but still looks a couple of steps ahead of the assessor. Yagan is by Australia and looked in good form winning easily at Southwell back in August. He is up 5lb but looks most likely to follow the selection home. Smokey Malone has won at this track and was a good second to Glen Cove over shorter at Southwell last month so looks best of the rest. Neverbeen To Paris has been pretty consistent so is also noted.
