NAP – My best tip of the day
Nottingham 2.05 Tough Enough (best price 1/1)
Promising colt who outran his odds to finish an excellent second at Newbury on debut beaten less than a length at the line; sure to improve from that initial effort and this looks a good opportunity to go one better.
I’m expecting TOUGH ENOUGH to prove hard to beat at Nottingham on Wednesday. James Tate’s 2yo colt ran a cracker when sent off at 22/1 on debut. He got within three-quarters of a length of the winner Lajooje and that colt had good form to his name from debut finishing second to Mustajaab. The selection should be more streetwise now and it’s no surprise to see him clear favourite for this. Morboka is a half-sister to 3 winners and might be the danger but you’d expect her to improve for the run seeing as it’s her debut. Caravaggio colt Vecchio has shown ability in two runs to date and might fare best of the rest if stepping forward again. Save The World might be a longer term project.

Kempton 6.25 Supreme King (best price 11/8)
Kingman colt who caught the eye on debut when second at Haydock and then chased home Mischief Magic at Goodwood; failed to give his running at Leicester but likely came too soon and should bounce back here.
I know SUPREME KING wasn’t at his best when down the field at Leicester back in August but his run when getting close to Mischief Magic at Goodwood was very encouraging and given time since that last run he should get back on track here. He still has plenty of potential and I’ll be surprised if he doesn’t open his account here. Cracksman colt Lieber Power was too inexperienced to do himself justice on debut at Newbury but should know much more this time. He did look a touch one paced though and I think he has enough to find with the selection so might always be playing second fiddle. Sea The Stars filly Sea Of Elegance is the most interesting on the debutants but she’ll need to be pretty forward.
