Race 6 Keeneland 8.57 Love Reigns (best price 5/6)

Exciting filly who created a huge impression winning by nearly 10 lengths on debut over track and trip; big run in defeat at Royal Ascot only beaten 3 lengths; back to winning ways at Saratoga latest; more to come now.

Hard to look past LOVE REIGNS here as she bids to make it 3 wins from 4 starts. Her only loss came when pitched in at the deep end at Royal Ascot behind Dramatised and she was quickly back on track at Saratoga last time. She will keep improving and looks a filly to keep on the right side of tonight and going forward as well. She will get on the speed and I’m not sure anything will be able to live with her in here. Private Creed is also 2 from 3 and her impressed last time so I think he is the main danger to the favourite. Mounsieur Coco has also looked promising winning both starts since his debut but they have come on a synthetic surface so he’ll need to transfer that to turf if he is to have a say here.

Race 9 Keeneland 10.45 Malathaat (best price 10/11)

Likeable filly who showed a good attitude to get up and make it 2 wins from 4 starts for the season at the top level at Saratoga last time; remains open to further improvement and should have too much for these.

This looks a straight shootout to me between the market leader MALATHAAT and Letruska. The former has finished in front of the latter the last twice and I think she can confirm that form again tonight. She hit the line strong last time and looks on an upward trajectory. Letruska still has to be respected especially back at this track but I just think she might find her too strong in the closing stages once more. Played Hard is obviously promising too having won 3 from 4 this season but this is tougher again and she has come up short behind the favourite when last tried at this level. Going the right way though so not entirely ruled out but likely find it hard to beat the selection again.
