NAP – My best tip of the day
Brighton 3.50 Aldbourne (best price 11/10)
Travelled strongly before winning readily by 7 lengths at Nottingham last time; remains unexposed over this trip and with rain in the forecast should have a great chance of following up here off the same mark.
Given that was an apprentice event ALDBOURNE won so impressively last time he escapes a penalty and with rain due he should take a lot of stopping here racing off the same mark. Hayley Turner gets the leg up and I think there is lots to like. Habanero Star is a likeable mare and she has had a good season winning four times but the handicapper has her about right and she was beaten 6 lengths last time. That might leave Curley Rose as the biggest danger to the favourite. She made the breakthrough at Wolverhampton last time and now she has her head in front she could have more to come but if the selection is in the same form he will still be really tough to beat. Rita Rana looks best of the rest.

Chelmsford 7.00 Oasis Power (best price 9/4)
Improving colt who ran his best race to date going down just half a length at Southwell last week, staying on at the finish; previous form stacks up and with more to come up in trip should be able to go one better.
With form behind the likes of Naval Power, Silver Knott and New Endeavour the improving OASIS POWER really should be winning this. He only went down half a length last time and is due to go up 4lb in the future. He will enjoy this extra yardage and in my eyes is definitely the one to beat here. Nathaniel filly Dovena has shown bits and pieces of ability and should do better now handicapping up in trip but I still think she’ll find it tough to beat the selection who has experience on side. Solitary Trees opened his account at Chepstow last month and hasn’t been disgraced in defeat since so will likely go well for a long way but again might just find one or two too good in the final furlong.
