Race 10 Gulfstream Park 10.09 Maryquitecontrary (best price 1/1)
Improving filly who showed a great attitude to make it 3 wins from 4 starts over C&D last month, holding off Starship Nala and Don’t Get Khozy; can progress again so hat-trick beckons here; worth keeping on side.
I’m sticking with MARYQUITECONTRARY to confirm that recent C&D form. She had main rivals here Starship Nala and Don’t Get Khozy in behind and if she improves again she should readily confirm that form. Streaking Grey should go hard from the off here and that will avoid it turning tactical. Starship Nala was only a neck behind last time and looks the biggest danger despite finishing behind Don’t Get Khozy and Restofthestory prior to that. Quinoa Tifah remains fairly unexposed but was well held 4 lengths back in third last time. She will need to step forward back on dirt and might still need a bit more time to come into her own. Sonar was behind Starship Nala last time and has ground to make up.

Race 7 Keeneland 9.12 Twilight Gleaming (best price 2/1)
Likeable filly who kept finding to win again last time and eyeing up a hat-trick of wins now; actually won 4 of her last 5 and still capable of further improvement so no surprise to see her have too much for these.
I’m confident TWILIGHT GLEAMING is the one to beat at Keeneland tonight. She impressed again last time and brings the most potential to the table. She should go forward and seems to be the most likely winner. Caravel won on penultimate start and knows where the winning line is judging by her overall profile. She ran in a Grade 2 last time finishing fourth and looks the main danger to the favourite. At a massive price Creative Credit could run a big race and might be worth backing to hit the frame. She won four in a row back in the summer and has the ability. Of the rest Star Devine is still lightly raced but she did fade last time albeit in a Grade 3 but I feel she’ll need more at the same level here.
