Race 6 Keeneland 8.40 Cyclone Mischief (best price 6/4)

Promising colt who was beaten less than a length on debut over a mile at Churchill Downs last month; sure to improve from that initial effort and looks well placed to go a couple better; worth keeping on side.

This looks a great chance for CYCLONE MISCHIEF to open his account. He showed plenty on debut and with natural improvement will likely be hard to beat here. He goes up slightly in trip and makes plenty of appeal. Presider needed his debut run but improved plenty to go down just a neck last time. If he progresses he looks the biggest danger to the favourite. Wadsworth was behind the latter in that race last time but is entitled to improve and looks best of the rest. I do think this will throw up plenty of future winners so definitely a race to watch with Notebooks at the ready. Seeking Unity makes his debut and is worth keeping an eye on in the debut as well.

Race 6 Delaware Park 8.00 Princess Cupid (best price 7/4)

Big ask up in grade last time and ran below par but form prior to that was progressive and if she bounces back here having been given time she will be a threat to all; her win 3 starts back was impressive so big shout.

I’m willing to put a line through that last run and so if PRINCESS CUPID bounces back she is definitely the one to beat here. She had won 2 of her last 4 before disappointing last time. She will push forward and likely prove hard to catch. The danger is probably Thistlefield who has won 2 from 4 but will need to find more to win this. Quiet Imagination was beaten 5 lengths last time and needs to progress from that. Dark Honey hasn’t been seen for a while so needs to produce her best on reappearance to get involved here. Preparefortakeoff is another out of form but obviously on her best she would also have to be noted. She is probably best fresh though as seen back in July.
