NAP – Best selection of the evening
MY US NAP WON LAST NIGHT AND RUNS IN RACE 6 AT KEENELAND ON SATURDAY!
Race 6 Keeneland 8.40 Gunite (best price 6/5)
Progressive colt who has won 3 from 5 this season and impressed last time drawing off by 3 lengths at the line; open to further improvement and hard to get away from in his current form; looks the most likely winner.
This is a good race but at the same time looks a great chance for GUNITE to make it 4 wins from his last 5 starts. He showed he has a nice mix of speed and stamina pulling away to win by 3 lengths last time and given he remains quite lightly raced he should have more in the locker yet. Provocateur is the clear speed in the race and I just expect the selection to track him through before finishing best. Artorius won 2 of his first 3 starts before blowing out in top company last time. If bouncing back he might be the biggest danger to the favourite. Of A Revolution has knocked on the door recently and only went down half a length in a Grade 2 last time so might not be too far away either.

Race 6 Gulfstream Park 8.01 Sea Trident (best price 7/4)
Likeable type who brought up the hat-trick impressively over C&D last month, powering away; won 4 of his last 5 now and if in the same form here may well have too much for them once more; worth sticking with again.
The winning machine that is SEA TRIDENT looks well placed to make it 4 in a row at Gulfstream on Saturday night. He ended up winning by 6 and a half lengths last time and that may well have been a career best. If he turns up in that sort of form again he is going to be very difficult to beat. Handsome Prince has some good form in the book and didn’t run badly albeit looking a little one paced over 6f here last month. If he builds on that back up to 7f he could feature but on the balance probably enough to prove at the moment. Dazzling Truths missed narrowly on turf last time but needs to transfer that back to dirt here but still might be the one to give the selection most to think about.
