MY US NAP RUNS IN RACE 5 AT PHILADELPHIA ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT!
Race 5 Philadelphia 7.43 Sovereign Change (best price 6/4)
Likeable type who showed a good attitude to get back to winning ways on penultimate start over this trip; good effort here last month and clearly remains in top form; still not fully exposed so more in the locker yet.
Not a great race but that makes SOVEREIGN CHANGE a standout to me. He has won 2 of his last 5 starts and showed a good attitude to prevail last time. Back down to a mile should suit and with more to come he can salute the judge once more. B B Bad is the danger in the betting and he has been running in better races than this recently but he was thrashed last time and is going to need to leave that behind to be a danger to this favourite. Kith also suffered a heavy defeat last time but if bouncing back could run a better race here. I still think the selection will have both of them covered. Of the rest Fierce Warrior won and finished second the last twice but has to back it up on dirt here.

Race 5 Mahoning Valley 7.37 Honky Tonk Music (best price 9/4)
Improving sort who arrives here chasing a hat-trick after bolting up on penultimate start and then backing that up with another impressive display last time; scope for further progress so leading claims in this field.
Great chance for HONKY TONK MUSIC to complete the hat-trick at Mahoning Valley tonight. He has won by over 4 lengths the last twice and the penny has clearly dropped now. This is easier if anything so if reproducing that form at this track he is definitely the one to beat. He has only had 10 starts so there should be more if called upon yet. Turning Pages won at Thisdtledown back in the summer but has been beaten twice since. This is easier so he does look the most obvious danger to the favourite. Kissinger is a bigger price and he looks pretty solid in terms of a place. Likely vulnerable for win purposes though. Dexquire won gamely last time and is best of the rest but will need to find more here.
