Keeneland 7.00

A cracking renewal of the Juvenile Turf Sprint with several horses you will be familiar with. The Platinum Queen is probably the best of our bunch but she has been drawn widest and it will take a big run for her to win this. I’m going to stick with LOVE REIGNS for Wesley Ward. She is drawn up the inside and should be aggressive from the gate and will likely take a lot of catching. She has won 2 from 3 and can reverse that Queen Mary form with Dramatised on her home soil.

The latter could go well with this tight track likely to suit but I think the selection will always be well positioned under Irad Ortiz. MISCHIEF MAGIC might be suited by this test too and I do think he is better than what he showed behind Blackbeard in the Middle Park.

Keeneland 7.40

A really open Juvenile Fillies’ this year with two key form lines coming in. I like CHOCOLATE GELATO‘s win at Belmont. It showed her versatility having won previously on a fast surface she did it nicely on a sloppy track at Belmont. She travelled very well staying on to win. She might prove better on a quicker surface and if getting a clean passage through she will be bang there.

The other key race was won by Wonder Wheel over course and distance with Chop Chop in second. I think the latter will reverse that form if Wonder Wheel tries to make all again and rates the main danger. You’re My Girl who finished second behind the selection last time will be on the front and could outrun her double-figure price.

Keeneland 8.20

I’ve always been a big fan of the imposing MEDITATE and stepping up to a mile for the first time here if she gets a decent trip I think she’ll take a lot of beating under Ryan Moore. Xigera is drawn nearby and she could be the pace in the race so if she pushes forward that would be a perfect horse to track through early on. My only concern with her is that she has been on the go since April but she has had nearly 6 weeks since her last run so should be fresh enough for this.

Plenty of dangers likely headed by Delight for Jonathan Thomas. This filly has won her last two starts in good style and had Bling held back in third last time. She has gears and I think she’ll run a big race. At a big price Pleasant Passage is a perfect 2-2 and had Free Look and Be Your Best in behind last time so that is rock solid form.

Keeneland 9.00

This race revolves around one a potential star in the making in CAVE ROCK who has won all of his races so far in impressive fashion. He has done all of his work from the front and no one has caught him so far with all wins reading well on the clock. Bob Baffert has won this race 5 times and has a cracking chance of making it 6 here.

National Treasure was second behind the selection in the American Pharoah Stakes at Santa Anita and will likely find it hard to get alongside him again here despite being a good horse himself. Forte is the main danger as he sees out this trip well as he proved over course and distance, digging deep to be a potentially very good rival. Blazing Sevens will certainly have the pace to aim at again here but might get caught too far back with the selection on the front end.

Keeneland 9.40

With 3 wins from his last 4 the exciting SILVER KNOTT looks one of our strongest runners on Breeders’ Cup Friday. He failed to fire in the Champagne Stakes at Doncaster but was quickly back on track beating Epicetus in the Autumn Stakes and is clearly armed with a ton of potential. He will be hitting the line strong and I think as long as he doesn’t get too far back they will struggle to stop him in the closing stages.

The likeable Victoria Road is second favourite for Aidan O’Brien and he has looked progressive but not to the same extent as the favourite. I do think he’ll run well and looks solid from a place perspective but the selection should be hard to beat. I’m Very Busy is interesting for Chad Brown but needs to improve again to get seriously competitive.
