Race 3 Woodbine 9.48 Fashionably Fab (best price 1/1)

Progressive filly who came on a ton from her debut run to win head in chest over 7f here last month; capable of better again and under likely aggressive tactics should be extremely hard to catch here.

It is hard to look past FASHIONABLY FAB at Woodbine on Thursday night. I know we won’t be getting much of a price about her but I’m keen to head into the Breeders’ Cup with a US NAP winner in the bag. If you want a bit more value then I advise sticking it in a double with the US NB which looks a great bet too this evening. This filly couldn’t really have been any more impressive last time and with more to come as she gains experience she should have too much for this field. Super Sinclair improved to win on turf on just her third start but was disappointing albeit in much stronger company than this last time. She will find this easier but at the same time does have enough to prove off the back of that.

Race 5 Horseshoe Indiana 8.15 Me And Chili (best price 1/1)

Likeable type who impressed winning at this level back in the summer showing a good attitude to drive clear late; highly tried since and failed to fire but back down in grade here should take the beating.

With the promise of more to come in these calmer waters ME AND CHILI is very much the one to beat. His win over a similar trip here back in the summer was pretty convincing and while he has been beaten 3 times since they have come in really good races in comparison to this and he should have too much class for these rivals. There isn’t a great deal of speed on but he doesn’t lack pace so if he needs to go forward he will do. The biggest danger is likely Sudden Shift who has knocked on the door the last twice but he is more exposed than the selection so might struggle if he improves again. Mr. Springtime won 2 of his first 4 starts but has gone off the boil and lacks a recent run here.
