Conditions look ideal for MCFABULOUS so I don’t think they’ll be too many excuses on his chase debut. He is a strong travelling sort who could come into his own now jumping a fence. He reached a decent level over hurdles but can likely better that over the larger obstacles in time. This doesn’t look too taxing and I think he’ll make the most of this opportunity. The danger is Sebastopol who bolted up at Chepstow albeit in a match before bumping into Sceau Royal at Kempton last month. He has solid form and sets the standard so should make a race of it. Hang In There backed out of it tamely at Cheltenham before pulling up but is better than that and should be best of the rest.
