Sunday’s Best Tips

TOUGH DAY YESTERDAY LET’S BOUNCE BACK! Racing on Sunday from Naas, Sandown, Cork and Ffos Las. Daily Double pays 7/1!

NAP – My best tip of the day

Ffos Las 2.50 Kilbeg King (best price 7/4)

Impressive Irish point winner who looked a nice prospect winning a bumper at Uttoxeter on sole start back in 2021; given plenty of time since but sure to do well now hurdling and this looks a good opportunity.

This looks winnable so KILBEG KING should be hard to beat. He won a bumper at Uttoxeter back in March 2021 and while he hasn’t been seen since he is armed with plenty of potential now hurdling. He clearly has a big engine and the yard do well with hurdling debutants so no surprise to see him figuring at the top of the market. With Take No Chances a non runner this morning that probably leaves Copper Cove who was caught out by the faster ground at Chepstow the main danger. This step up in trip is definitely in his favour. Of the rest Gladiatus shaped with promise when third at Chepstow and should also have a bright enough future with more time and experience.

NB – My Next or second best tip of the day

MY NEXT BEST RUNS OVER JUMPS AT SANDOWN ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON!

Sandown 2.35 Does He Know (best price 9/4)

Won 3 times over fences last season and got the first all wrong at Kelso on his first start following a wind op last month; remains capable of better and if he gets into a rhythm here he could be a danger to all.

I’m sticking with DOES HE KNOW to bounce back at Sandown on Sunday. He won 3 times over fences last season and looked like a nice recruit to this sphere. Things obviously didn’t go to plan at Kelso on return but he can bounce back from that and if he does he will be a danger to all in this field. Pic D’orhy made a winning return at Newton Abbot but he doesn’t seem to be crying out for a step up to 3 miles and he might just find the selection finishing the stronger. Fantastikas was pulled up in the Scottish National but should run better here and has won fresh too which would have to be a plus. Dazzling Glory and Victorias Peak both seem to have enough work on to get involved.
