Progressive stayer who was winning for the third time this year slamming rivals by 5 lengths at Southwell last month, hitting the line strong; 8lb rise but with good reason and should follow up here.
With the promise of more to come VAYNOR gets a confident vote to come out on top at Chelmsford on Tuesday night. He really impressed with how he travelled and cut through the pack and given that was a career best it is no surprise to see the handicapper raise him 8lb. I’m expecting him to be really hard to beat here. Brasca left his reappearance disappointment behind him to finish fourth at Kempton last time only beaten 2 lengths so looks the main danger. Duty Of Care was nearest finish when fifth at Kempton and he might have more to come up in trip. Heatherdown Hero also brings winning form to the table but this is definitely tougher so he’ll likely need to improve again to feature.

Likeable type who won 2 of his last 3 over hurdles last season and returned better than ever winning easily on chase debut over C&D last month; carries a penalty here but hard to beat with more to come.
There was lots to like about the way HIGHSTAKESPLAYER won on chase debut over C&D last month and if he improves again here he will be hard to beat despite the penalty. He was still tanking approaching 3 out and took it up to win with plenty in hand. Coupdebol opened his account in this sphere at just the second time of asking at Warwick. He likely has more to come despite falling when last seen so should emerge as the danger to the favourite. Sheldon won at Stratford 12 days ago and is another to note but this definitely looks to have more strength in depth so he will have more on his plate here. Ridgeway won at Kempton last month but the ground will likely be a fair bit softer here.
