MY US NAP WON AGAIN LAST NIGHT AND IS CHASING A SIX-TIMER ON FRIDAY!
Race 3 Del Mar 9.30 Helladic (best price 7/4)
Promising type who created a big impression winning easily on debut at Santa Anita; given time and then ran a big race in defeat when second in a better race than this last month; sharper now and the one to beat.
My NAP was hammered again and won again last night so I’m eyeing up a SIX-TIMER on Friday. I’m off to Del Mar where the improving HELLADIC can make it 2 from 3. He was impressive on debut and then was given time to mature before going close on return last month. He will be fitter now and with further progress to come can get back in the winners enclosure. This is slightly easier so there really shouldn’t be any excuses. Ah Jeez was behind the selection on penultimate start and then blew out somewhat last time so while he is the danger given how lightly raced he is he still has enough ground to make up. Jordan made a bright start winning on turf last time and is also respected.

Progressive mare who rounded off last campaign with an impressive win and returned better than ever too powering clear; denied the hat-trick last time but kept on well; more to come so should be hard to beat here.
With more to come ANGEL’S ADVOCATE should be able to make it 3 wins from her last 4 starts at Golden Gate Fields on Friday night. Her reappearance win was super impressive and she should have these rivals covered. Canam Gal won on turf on penultimate start but was well held on dirt last time and needs to dig deep to make a race of this. Warm Summer won well last time but this is tougher again so she needs more if she is going to be the danger. Hot Rageous has been consistent and is another one to consider but again enough to do to peg back the selection. Sherlinda is a decent yardstick but she lacks a recent run so should come on for this but might still be able to run a nice race in defeat.
