Race 6 Horseshoe Indiana 10.05 Too Bad Justice (best price 6/5)

Promising type who has continued to run well in defeat going down just a neck into second in a really good race on penultimate start; denied just a length last time and a repeat of that would see him win this.

Given TOO BAD JUSTICE was beaten just a length in a $250K contest over a mile here last month this looks a great chance for him to get back in the winners enclosure. He has been threatening for a while now and is comfortably the most likely winner in this field. Amicable was behind the selection last time and might be the one to chase him home again here. Mr. Springtime is still unexposed but needs to leave that reappearance run miles behind to have a say in the outcome here. Unbridled Victor is also held by the favourite on recent form so has work to do to get involved. Kingoftherainbow also needs to do better but might be a bit of value to place but likely needs a career best.

Race 8 Mahoning Valley 9.01 Venture On (best price 2/1)

Caught the eye missing by just a neck at Thistledown last time, closing up well at the finish; more to come over a mile and this doesn’t look any tougher so big chance to get back in the winners enclosure tonight.

Hard to look past VENTURE ON if he improves again. He is still fairly unexposed over a mile and that last run at Thistledown was really encouraging. He should get a good pace to run down here and will likely be finishing best of all. Volume Of Trust went close over 6f last time and will be the danger if backing that up back up to a mile here. He is strictly held by the selection on a couple of pieces of form this season though. Gibby My Corn has only had a handful of starts and while he needs to reverse form with Volume Of Trust he is open to improvement so might surprise a few in that respect. Lil Rickys Jewel hasn’t shown a great deal other than that maiden win and likely needs much more in this field.
