NAP – My best tip of the day
Fakenham 2.22 Mullenbeg (best price 11/8)
Promising mare who took time for the penny to drop over hurdles but won impressively at Plumpton by 10 lengths last month and should be able to build on that now; opening handicap mark may well prove lenient.
I know MULLENBEG was turned over at odds-on at Market Rasen and Huntingdon but she looked to need the experience on both occasions and very much put it altogether to win by 10 lengths at Plumpton last month. She goes handicapping now off an opening mark of 108 and based on her bumper ability that may well prove lenient. She still possesses a lot of potential and looks to have a good chance of justifying favouritism. Princess T has won 2 of her last 3 and looks the main danger to the selection. She is up 9lb though and that looks steep enough. Of the rest Emma Lamb was interesting but is out now so perhaps Sawpit Sienna will go better than her odds suggest as at least confidence high.

Never seriously threatened over hurdles last season but given some tough assignments and caught the eye when runner-up on return at Fakenham last month; up in trip now chasing so probably worth chancing.
This looks a good opportunity for BLENDED STEALTH to make a winning chase debut. This Walk In The Park gelding ran his best race to date when runner-up over hurdles at Fakenham last month and that would have left him spot on for this. He is bred to come into his own in this discipline going up in trip and should be a warm order here. Enduring Love isn’t getting any younger but impressed at Clonmel at the start of the year. He was a good third next time out but then well held at Tramore. If the cheekpieces help on first start for his new yard he might finish second but probably opposable. Waikiki Waves pulled up at Fontwell but if bouncing back should run better here.
