NAP – My best tip of the day
Hexham 12.53 Crystal Glory (best price 11/10)
Likeable type who did well over hurdles winning twice and was last seen finishing fourth in the Grade 1 Sefton Novices’ Hurdle at Aintree; more to come now chasing and no surprise to see him make a winning start.
My NAP was back to winning ways yesterday and I’ll be hoping to rack up a bit of a sequence now. Nicky Richards sends CRYSTAL GLORY chasing at Hexham on Wednesday and he should take a lot of beating. He did well over hurdles and should make an even better chaser. He won on debut so goes well fresh and even at the time of writing is proving strong in the betting. Mossy Fen was initially really promising over hurdles but he has failed to match that over fences and was pulled up at both Cheltenham and Warwick on final two starts last season. He has changed yards but has enough to prove even if bouncing back. If the latter does disappoint perhaps Hillview will chase the fav home.

Promising sort who lived up to market expectations to make a winning start in a bumper at Newbury; improved again to win a Grade 2 at Aintree; exciting prospect for novice hurdling and one to keep firmly on side.
Jack Quinlan continues to impress in the saddle and he’ll be looking forward to riding LOOKAWAY at Warwick on Wednesday. This flashy chestnut is a perfect 2-2 in bumpers and he could be a really nice horse to go hurdling with now. This looks a good starting point before potentially going on to better things in time. Ernest Gray also won his first two starts in bumpers but disappointed in Graded company behind the selection at Aintree. He still remains a nice prospect to go hurdling with but should benefit from the experience. Mexico took a few runs to get the hang of things winning well at Catterick and has experience on side over hurdles but might find the favourite a bit too classy here.
