MY US NAP WON LAST NIGHT AND RUNS IN RACE 9 AT PHILADELPHIA TONIGHT!

Race 9 Philadelphia 9.01 Spikezone (best price 5/4)

Promising type who won head in chest here on penultimate start, lengthening away late; only beaten narrowly at Del Mar last month so remains in top form; can improve again and should be hard to beat here.

With the promise of more to come SPIKEZONE earns a confident vote to get himself back in the winners enclosure tonight. He was really impressive on penultimate start and only went down narrowly at Del Mar last time in a better race than this. He is open to improvement after just the 6 starts and looks to have found another good opportunity. A Dangerous Guy finished in front of the selection when winning over 5f here earlier in the season but the favourite has improved again since and reversed that form last time and will likely have too much over 6f once more. Mr Sandman beat the latter over track and trip when they met back in the summer and might be the main danger to the selection.

Race 7 Finger Lakes 8.09 Jitter Juice (best price 7/4)

Improving fast judging by the way he won by 10 lengths here back in the summer; backed that up finding plenty off the bridle to win over track and trip next time and then hit the line strong when second latest.

Hard to look past JITTER JUICE who has won 2 of his last 3. Things didn’t pan out favourably last time but he finished strongly and only went down around 3 lengths. If he improves again and gets a better passage then he should have too much for this field. Datesfreedom is the danger having won twice before finishing behind the selection last time. If bouncing back should chase him home. Lucky Manny also has form that ties in with those mentioned but needs more. Should run well though and might hit the frame. Seanan is unexposed and has won 2 of his last 4 but this is another step up so he’ll need to improve again to get involved. The rest have enough to prove and are passed over.
