Promising filly who only missed a nose on debut but quickly improved to open her account convincingly here last month, 3 lengths clear at the line; more to come up in trip now and very much the one to beat.

Crossbar rattled for the US NAP last night after a good run of winners so hopefully I can go one better on Saturday night and get back on track. OH DARLIN is improving all the time and she should have more to come as she stretches out in distance. She was impressive enough here last month and looks on an upward trajectory. Stuck In Malibu has more experience on side but is yet to win. She got within a head of victory last time though and if improving again could be the biggest danger. Navy Goat has looked promising on turf winning at just the second time of asking and she will likely fare best of the rest if transferring that form to a synthetic surface here. Esoteric has to bounce back.

Race 6 Del Mar 10.59 Blessed Touch (best price 2/1)

Improving filly who needed the experience when only fifth on debut here but stepped forward markedly to win head in chest at Santa Anita last month; can only progress again and should have too much here.

This looks a great opportunity for the improving BLESSED TOUCH to make it 2 wins from 3 starts. She really impressed at Santa Anita last time winning by nearly 9 lengths at the line. She goes up a furlong in trip which could prove a catalyst for further progression. She is one to keep firmly on side today and going forward. Justique looked promising to winning on debut having been given a mountain to climb but didn’t really back that up when third last time. That was a Grade 2 though and she clearly still has potential so definitely the main danger to the selection. Huntingcoco also created a big impression storming clear to win on debut but has beaten out of sight last time so a bit to prove.
