The second game in Group C is now ever bigger with two teams that thought they might be fighting out 2nd place have seen the group blown wide-open by Saudi Arabia’s win against Argentina. With the importance of the game you would expect goals in this and as a result a very good game between Mexico and Poland.
Mexico have plenty of experience to draw upon and I fancy that to prove the difference here. Guillermo Ochoa, Hector Moreno, Andres Guardado and Hector Herrera have well over 500 caps between them and while their form heading into this has been mixed they did beat the likes of Iraq and Peru and were involved in a 5 goal thriller against Colombia.
Before that 1-0 win over Chile Poland had kept just one clean sheet in their last 6 games and Mexico have scored in 5 of their last 6 so I fancy goals. Lewandowski will be leading the line for Poland and if he gets the service it is hard to see how he won’t be involved at the business end.
