World Cup – Switzerland v Cameroon Preview

Cameroon are solid having kept clean sheets in half of their qualifying matches but their form has dipped in recent times struggling to score draws with both Jamaica and Panama and prior to that they lost to Korea Republic and Uzbekistan which really were shocking results.

Switzerland on the other hand beat Portugal and Spain in the Nations League along with a 2-1 victory over Czech Republic. They lost a friendly against Ghana last week but I wouldn’t read much into that. They have plenty of experience in their squad and they have made it past the Group Stage in four of their last five World Cup appearances. I can see a low scoring Switzerland win where they should be able to control the match from the off.
