Group F looks the sort of group that will almost certainly go down to the last game. Belgium were far from impressive scrapping a 1-0 victory over Canada and it wouldn’t surprise me to see Morocco give them a real game here. The Belgiums' golden generation look pretty disjointed and even the likes of KDB looked laboured in that opening game. Morocco held Croatia to a 0-0 draw which is a result they won’t mind at all if they can pick something up again here.
Despite that poor performance Belgium have won 11 of their last 13 World Cup matches now so it is hard to see how they won’t better that initial performance here. If they do they should come through this test but I’m struggling to see them doing it impressively. They have actually won their last 8 group-stage games at the World Cup now which equals Brazil's record so it is a chance for them to create history which could be a motivator.
Morocco have now failed to score in 9 of their 17 World Cup games and they have won just 2 of them 17 so no surprise to see them the outsiders again here. They will look to keep it tight and despite Batshuayi scoring the winner against Canada he didn’t look up to speed and that would have to be concerning. This will be a low scoring encounter perhaps with Belgium just edging it in the second half.
