With France coming back from a goal down to thrash Australia 4-1 and Tunisia surprising a few with their stubbornness to earn a draw against Denmark second spot is still very much up for grabs in Group D. This is a huge clash for both Tunisia and Australia and you get the feeling both will fancy their chances.
Tunisia have now kept 9 clean sheets in their last 10 games so I think they are likely to keep this tight against Australia before trying to pick them off in the second half. Skhiri looked bright against Denmark and might prove the difference here in a match that will likely lack quality. They average 1.4 goals per game over their last 10 matches so a 1-0 victory appeals.
Australia did start brightly against France scoring first but they ultimately showed little after that and I don’t see any sort of a surprise here. I think it could be a match of very few chances and the best of those are likely to fall to Tunisia based on what we saw from them against Denmark who are better drilled at the back than Australia.
