NAP – Best selection of the evening
MY US NAP RUNS IN RACE 5 AT ZIA PARK ON MONDAY NIGHT!
Race 5 Zia Park 8.48 Seeulatergator (best price 1/1)
Progressive form bolting up over track and trip at the start of the month and then backed that up comfortably over C&D again last time, a few of these in behind; can confirm that form and looks the one to beat.
This isn’t the best race so that makes SEEULATERGATOR a standout seeing as he is chasing a hat-trick of wins. He was too good for Moro Appeal and Wild Firemaker last time and should be able to confirm that form tonight. He likes to go forward and if he gets dictating again I doubt they’ll manage to pass him. Moro Appeal was held by Shanghai Mike before bumping into the selection last time so has work to do but will likely run his race again. The latter was in behind them last time and looked pretty exposed so may struggle to back up that win back in September. Saltie Fire won last time but this is a better race and he will need everything to drop right just to have a chance.

Race 9 Philadelphia 8.31 Darling Donna (best price 11/8)
Improving filly who showed a good attitude to make it 2 wins from her last 3 at Santa Anita last time; getting better with experience and while this is tougher again she may well be up to the task; big chance.
With 2 wins from her last 3 starts the improving DARLING DONNA can salute the judge once more at Philadelphia tonight. She impressed last time and a similar performance albeit in a better grade here may well suffice. The threat is likely to come from Hidden Cache who did impress winning easily last time but this race looks to have more strength in depth. Aruma was eyeing up a hat-trick but failed to land it beaten 7 lengths into second last time. If she bounces back she might run well but still this will demand more from her. Our Uptown Girl was back to her best winning over 6f here last time and is another one to note if taking another step forward this evening.
