Portugal will be looking to go a perfect 3/3 in Group H on Friday. They took 65 minutes to make a breakthrough against Ghana and that was a game that produced a further 4 goals in just 16 minutes so while Uruguay failed to score against them last time I still feel they are a team that are usually involved in goals. Ghana came out on top in a 5 goal thriller with South Korea so they are in a good position to try and qualify in second.
Portugal are sitting top of Group H with 6 points and only need a draw here to secure that spot. Unlike France I don’t expect too many changes to this Portugal side with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes desperate to play and add more goals to their tally. They beat Uruguay convincingly and should go a perfect 3/3 here. They did show some defensive vulnerability against Ghana conceding twice though and may prove vulnerable once more.
South Korea sit on just the 1 point having held Uruguay to a goalless draw in the opening game. They have scored 10 in their last 12 though so usually make an impact win or lose. I ultimately expect them to come up short as only a win could give them a chance to qualify so they will have to go for this so the game should really open up. The market has largely overlooked that so there is definite value to be had.
