Fairyhouse 1.25 Champ Kiely (best price 1/1)
Unbeaten under Rules having won a bumper on debut at Limerick last year before going 2-2 over hurdles, latest winning a Grade 3 impressively at Tipperary; will keep improving and one to keep firmly on side.
There was lots to like about the way CHAMP KIELY made all at Tipperary last time. He is clearly a horse with tons of untapped potential and he should be able to make it 3-3 over hurdles before being targeted at bigger pots down the line. He ended up winning by 4 and a half lengths last time and you get the feeling he can still jump better so that really was quite impressive. The second Brazil and third Hubrisko are very good yardsticks as the former showed beating Fil Dor at Naas to frank the form. Marine Nationale is the danger as he is also 3-3 under Rules having won impressively on debut over hurdles at Punchestown last time. He is a big chasing type for later down the line.

Huntingdon 1.15 School Days Over (best price 6/4)
Likeable type who showed a good attitude to get up close home to make a winning start in a bumper at Market Rasen on sole start last season; plenty of encouragement from his reappearance second at Cheltenham.
Sent off at 14/1 on return SCHOOL DAYS OVER was probably given a bit too much to do when running on well for second at Cheltenham last month. The winner had it all go his own way and is probably a useful type as well so the form should work out. He goes hurdling now and looks a nice prospect for the yard to go to war with this season. He will likely be held up again here and if he jumps well enough should be able to pick his way through this field late. The vibes are clearly quite strong as he is being well backed in the betting so connections clearly expect him to be up to the task. Father Of Jazz looked really promising initially on the Flat before going off the boil. Could be the biggest threat.
