MY AUSTRALIAN NAP WON OVERNIGHT AND RUNS IN RACE 4 AT LAUNCESTON!
Race 4 Launceston 8.20 Fairy Magic (best price 1/1)
Unbeaten mare who made it a perfect 2-2 when last seen in the summer winning convincingly over track and trip; form stacks up and if she improves again she should make a winning return here.
Great chance for the improving FAIRY MAGIC to make it a perfect 3-3 at Launceston overnight. She looked a mare firmly on the upgrade when last seen and this looks a good opportunity for her to pick up where she left off. Geegee Jet By has won 3 from 7 but is 2 from 3 at this track so looks the biggest danger. He was disappointing last time though so needs to bounce back to lay a glove on this favourite. Mascherata has 1 win from 14 starts but she was poor last time and is going to need to produce her best to even have a squeak. Warica is on a four-timer but this is the toughest field he has faced so while he might go well for a long way he could be left vulnerable in the closing stages.

Race 4 Sandown 6.25 St Lawrence (best price 6/4)
Progressive sort who resumed with a gutsy win at Geelong; steps up in trip now and only going to improve again so with added fitness on side should be able to bring up the hat-trick; one to keep safe.
No surprise to see ST LAWRENCE top the betting for this as he bids to remain unbeaten. He only won by a neck at Hastings on debut but quickly improved to follow up on return at Geelong. He will tighten up from that and is the most likely winner in this field. The step up in trip will help and he has plenty in favour again. Rich Divinity has 2 wins from 5 starts and looks the danger as the betting is suggesting. He ran well when third at Benalla and won at this track prior to that. He did blow out at Cranbourne but had excuses and is expected to bounce back. Air Defence only has 3 wins from 30 starts so is more exposed and finished nearer last than first here last time so has a bit to prove right now.
