Sunday’s American Horse Racing Tips

Promising colt who created a big impression winning impressively on debut at Belmont when last seen; sure to improve from that initial effort and looks set to make it a perfect 2-2 here.

There was lots to like about the way RUDDER'S MEN won on debut geared down at the finish. He clearly has a big engine and with natural improvement from that initial effort should be tough to beat. This is actually easier if anything so I'm expecting him to be a warm order. Mr. Ripple also impressed winning on debut but that did come in an easier race than what the selection won in. He is clearly promising too but might need more to come out on top here. Litigate hit the line hard to winon debut at Aqueduct and is another colt in here who should have a bright future. This race will likely throw up plenty of future winners so might be worth watching back.

Improving colt who left previous efforts behind to win gamely over track and trip last month; open to further progress and no surprise to see him make all the running here; worth keeping on side.

This looks a good opportunity for A WESTERN YARN to follow up. He showed a willing attitude to come out on top over this C&D last month and with further improvement to come on what is just his fifth start he should be hard to beat here. He will likely bounce out on the speed and take a lot of catching. Dataman was in front of Furiously when runner-up here last time and if building on that could be the danger. Prowling Tiger showed promise on debut and then improved to win last time so he is another one to note if finding more again here. Furiously should also do better at some point but does look held by Dataman so would likely need one or two others to disappoint to have a shout.
