Saturday’s American Horse Racing Tips
Sky Sports Racing have live coverage of US Racing tonight and I’ve covered all ELEVEN meetings and picked out my best bets.
PEGASUS WORLD CUP ON SATURDAY NIGHT! Racing in America from Gulfstream Park, Aqueduct, Santa Anita, Tampa Bay Downs and much more. My Daily Double pays 9/2!
Exciting filly who made a bright start bolting up on debut at Del Mar and then improved showing a great attitude to get the verdict up to Grade 1 level at Los Alamitos last month; only going to improve so one to keep very safe.
I loved the way FAIZA found more to hold off Pride Of The Nile at Los Alamitos last month and with further improvement to come she should be able to complete the hat-trick here and remain unbeaten. She comes back in trip slightly which should help judging by how impressive she was on debut and I'm confident she has the beating of this field. Justique has won 2 from 3 and impressed coming from well off the pace to win last time. If she proves as effective back up a furlong in trip she could emerge as the danger. Pride Of The Nile obviously only went down a head to the selection last time and had won twice on turf prior to that so must be respected again. Uncontrollable was third in that race so has ground to make up but should have the beating of both Broadway Girls and Sweet Trouble.
Talented colt who looked back to his best going down just a head when last seen at Keeneland in the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile; still just a 4yo so could have more to offer this campaign; likely hard to beat if ready to roll here.
I've always been a big fan of CYBERKNIFE and I fully expected him to make a winning return here. He was denied an agonising head to Cody's Wish in the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile when last seen and his form obviously stacks up. He should be fit and ready to roll and I'll be surprised if he is beaten. Defunded arrives on a hat-trick and impressed again last time so looks the main danger if improving again. Proxy made a bright return winning at Churchill Downs and again if building on that should be getting competitive. Skippylongstocking has won 2 of his last 3 and is one that might go under the radar a bit here so I'll be interested to see how he runs with an eye to the future. It is going to be hard to hold off the selection in the closing stages though so passed over for now
