NAP – My best tip of the day
Fontwell 1.40 Unit Sixtyfour (best price 6/4)
Promising start to his chase career deservedly getting his head in front to win by 12 lengths at Warwick last month, jumping them silly; up 12lb but that to be expected and well placed to follow up here.
I’ll be surprised if UNIT SIXTYFOUR doesn’t improve again so while a 12lb rise seems plenty it is probably with good reason. He jumped his rivals into submission at Warwick and was strong at the finish. The horse that finished sixth Valirann Gold won his next start so the form has substance. He will go forward again here and there is a good chance he’ll make all around this tight track. Line Of Descent left his reappearance run behind to finish second on chase debut but was beaten 8 lengths. I do rate the winner there though so if he improves then he looks the danger. Master Malcolm ended last season on the up but has failed to shine so far this season and looks to have enough on his plate again here.

Sedgefield 2.35 Arthur’s Quay (best price 5/2)
Lightly raced for his age and really impressed with how he went clear at Catterick last month; followed up when well backed at Musselburgh at the start of the month, going away at the line; hat-trick beckons.
He might be a 9yo but ARTHUR’S QUAY is fairly lightly raced and it is no great surprise to see him thriving in recent starts. He won easily at Catterick just after Christmas and then backed that up when heavily punted to follow up at Musselburgh last time under a penalty. He is 6lb higher here but if in the same form then he will bring up the hat-trick. Nero Rock opened his account over fences at this track back in May before following up over C&D next time out. He was disappointing after but ran much better when third at Doncaster last month. He needs to build on that but could be the danger and is being nibbled at in the betting at the time of writing. North Parade needs to jump better.
