MY AUSTRALIAN NAP WON AGAIN OVERNIGHT AND IS CHASING A HAT-TRICK NOW!
Race 6 Albury 6.10 Hardware Lane (best price 6/5)
Good looking chestnut who won 2 of his last 3 to round off last campaign; encouraging return when third at Warwick Farm; sure to strip fitter from that and looks well placed to get back in the winners enclosure here.
With the promise of more to come HARDWARE LANE really should be saluting the judge here. He was progressive towards the end of last season winning here and at Wagga. He looked to need the run on return and with natural improvement should have too much for this field. Bullet Rider has won 3 from 9 overall so not too dissimilar to the selection. He didn’t run badly in a good race at Flemington last month and if matching that sort of form here looks most likely to emerge as the danger. Race Against Time knocked on the door when second at Wagga but is going to need to improve to win this and is more exposed so looks up against it. Baledon impressed at Rosehill but was poor on final start.

Race 6 Gosford 5.10 Ambassadors (best price 6/4)
Improving with experience and showed definite promise when runner-up at Kembla Grange and then backed that up when third at Hakwesbury; given time since and won a recent trial so ready to strike now.
This is unlikely to take much winning so AMBASSADORS looks a standout. They have always thought quite a bit of him and he started to show that when second at Kembla Grange and then ran well again in defeat when third at Hawkesbury. He has been given plenty of time since and with a recent trial win under his belt and easier opposition to run down he should be coming out on top. Surreal Lily looks a nice enough mare in the making and she is the obvious danger in such a weak race. She will come on for that third at Kembla Grange and should make a race of it. Villa Tino still has potential but that run at Canterbury leaves him with enough to find and this will likely come too soon anyway.
