NAP – My best tip of the day
Leicester 2.00 Flann (best price 13/8)
Improved to win impressively over 2 and a half miles here back in November, ridden clear to win by 7 lengths at the line; runner-up won twice since in the style of a nice horse so form franked; brought down latest can bounce back.
Fergal O’Brien has been in good form lately and he has another good chance of a winner at Leicester on Wednesday in the shape of the improving FLANN. This 8yo stepped forward on previous form to win impressively over fences here back in November. The horse he beat Unit Sixtyfour has won his next two in the style of a nice prospect so the form has been strongly franked since. He was brought down at Ludlow last time but as long as he stays the trip here he will take a lot of beating under 3lb claimer Liam Harrison. Jonjo O’Neill is also in form and saddles the danger On The Bandwagon. He ran well over C&D last time and off the same mark should get competitive again.

Ayr 2.25 Aazza (best price 7/4)
Likeable mare who travelled strongly throughout before going effortlessly clear late to win by 20 lengths at Doncaster last time; 13lb hike to deal with but deservedly so as remains thoroughly unexposed over this trip.
Given AAZZA was only 2 or 3 lengths in front jumping the last the fact she went on to win by 20 lengths tells you how strongly she hit the line. She won a point over 3 miles and has clearly come into her own upped to this trip over hurdles now. Her second to Blue Shark prior to that also reads well so her form stacks up. She has that big rise to deal with up 13lb but I’m confident she can defy that in what looks another winnable race. El Poppochapo responded well to first-time cheekpieces to open her account here 3 weeks ago. She goes handicapping and if improving again looks the danger. I expect Lady Tremaine to bounce back at some point but she’ll need to better that reappearance run.
