Sunday’s American Horse Racing Tips
Sky Sports Racing have live coverage of US Racing tonight and I’ve covered all SEVEN meetings and picked out my best bets.
ANOTHER BUSY NIGHT STATESIDE! Racing in America on Sunday from Gulfstream Park, Laurel Park, Tampa Bay Downs, Aqueduct, Santa Anita, Sam Houston and Golden Gate. My Daily Double pays 10/1!
Promising filly who has won both starts Stateside since coming over from Ireland; found plenty to drive clear on US debut at Del Mar and then backed that up winning over the extended 6f here last month; can improve again stepping up to a mile.
Lots to like about THE WILD GRAZER at Santa Anita on Sunday night. This filly is clearly improving with experience and she has thrived since joining this yard making it a perfect 2-2 in America over shorter here last month. This step up to a mile should unlock further improvement and she is the most likely winner in this field. The danger is probably Broadway Girls back on turf. She had completed back-to-back victories before blowing out on dirt last time. If bouncing back she is the obvious danger to the favourite. Ag Bullet left her debut run behind to win easily here last time. She is upped in grade here but still has to be respected. Tea N Conversation also has a squeak but looks held by Broadway Girls on that latest piece of form which is enough to make her vulnerable.
Likeable type who won at a similar level to this at Saratoga back in September; bar one blip on penultimate start held his form quite well in defeat since and no surprise to see him bounce back to his best here having been freshened up; worth chancing.
This is competitive but I think RAGTIME BLUES is worth chancing. He certainly knows where the winning line is and got within half a length of victory when last seen. This is slightly easier if anything and I think he'll have these rivals covered when it comes to the crunch. Printrack remains largely unexposed and is probably the main danger in this field. His run on penultimate start where he missed just a neck was promising and I think he had excuses last time. Senor Jobim ran well on penultimate start but went off the boil when last seen and has a bit to prove. I'm surprised at how short he is in the betting for this. Motion To Strike remains in good form and was only narrowly denied last time by a nose so could easily bounce back here and get competitive at least.
