Night Of Thunder filly Choisya impressed winning by a head at Southwell last month but this won’t be easy shouldering a 7lb penalty and I’m keen on SPRING PROMISE making the breakthrough. The latter was only headed late over a mile at Kempton last time and down to 7f here with further improvement to come she is expected to go one better now. It is not just a two-horse race though as Footstepsinthesand filly Puntarelle also looks to have a bright enough future having shaped quite well in defeat when fourth at Newbury. She’ll probably come on for the run but shouldn’t be completely discounted. Royal Design is another one likely to do better with time and experience.
