Saturday’s American Horse Racing Tips

Improving filly who shaped as though she needed the run when beaten just half a length on return back in November; finished that race really strongly so should be spot on for this; definitely one to keep safe.

The promising KATHLEEN O. won her first four starts and that included a defeat of Classy Edition who had no answers on that occasion. The selection ran on well last time and would have won with a few more yards. She will strip much fitter from that and clearly has a bright future. Classy Edition won nicely on return over a mile here and is the obvious danger but she does look held on that form when the pair met last year. Tap Dance Fever is on a hat-trick but she is more exposed and this is a big step up from what she has been facing. Midnight Stroll is unexposed but this is a big ask on return. She could be a nice filly though so it will be interesting to see how she runs here. Hard to see any of the others landing a blow in this as it looks a good race on paper.

Progressive mare who has looked at her best in recent starts winning readily on penultimate start and then followed up impressively here again last time; back up to 6f and hat-trick surely beckons with more to come.

Hard to oppose PROPER ATTIRE if she turns up in the same form that saw her win so well here last time. This isn't a great deal tougher and she should have the gears to see this field off. The danger is probably Bandits Warrior who was only beaten half a length last time and if building on that being just a 4yo she should get competitive. Peyton Elizabeth is a decent yardstick but she has run poorly the last twice albeit in quite good contests so if bouncing back might go well but likely vulnerable for win purposes. Spicy Margarita is more unexposed than most in here and has gone close the last twice. I did think she looked a little tired at the finish last time though so is going to need to improve to win this. Quite a competitive race in the main but the fav looks a cut above.
